  From the outset Frankston Kitchens just wanted a signature on the contract. No attention to detail, nothing written down on the contract, no working drawings were given. We had a 6 week wait for the kitchen installation that was expected to take 2 - 3 days. First error was found on Day 1, took them 5 days to come back to discuss and seven weeks to complete kitchen. An enormous amount of time was taken off work to accommodate the frequent visits to rectify problems. FYI - they insist on 100% payment before installation. My head said no, but I was too trusting. The kitchen is lovely but I would not be able to recommend them to anyone. They are too disorganised. I am told the 35 years experience that tipped us toward using them, was a partnership - there is no partnership now, it is owned and operated by one family only. If you do proceed, be pedantic and ask for detailed drawings, not single line drawings, and have every small detail documented and signed off.
